Dr. Cassandra Murdock joined the practice in May 2014. Dr. Murdock is a native to the Galesburg area. She graduated from the University Of Illinois College Of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. Prior to coming to our practice, she worked at a small animal clinic in Peoria for two years. Her commitment to family and community encouraged her to return to Galesburg. Cassandra has special interests in preventative medicine and surgery. In her free time, she enjoys getting outdoors and spending time with her husband Jarod and their children. They share their home with their Australian shepherd “Dally” and cat “Gus.

Dr Barbara Buschmann is a 1999 University of Illinois Veterinary School graduate. She is originally from the Chicagoland area and practiced several years there before coming to the area. She sees the small animals- cats and dogs, but also enjoys seeing rabbits, guinea pigs, and rats/mice/hamsters.
Outside of work, she is raising a family and loves everything outdoors and being active!

Dr. Becca Schwieter received her DVM from Midwestern University in 2020. As a veterinarian she finds the most rewarding experience is the relationships she forms with clients and their pets. She has a cat named Gingerpoodles and a horse named Wheatie. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her pets, family, and friends.

Jolene Eiker joined the practice in May of 2016, as our office manager after retiring from teaching Pre-School. Jolene and her husband Dan have three children and four grandchildren. They share their home with their Cocker Spaniels. Jolene designs and sells jewelry, as well as teaches different jewelry making techniques. Jolene loves to travel and spend time with her family.

Steph earned a Bachelors in Animal Science from Western Illinois University and resides in Knoxville. She stays very busy serving as one of our full time veterinary technicians. Stephanie has experience raising and handling dogs, cats, poultry, and horses. She enjoys spending time in the outdoors gardening, hunting, and fishing.

Angie Widolff joined our practice as a receptionist in October of 2018. She has previous experience working for a veterinary clinic in Wisconsin for six years. She grew up locally, but after attending Monmouth College and then getting married to Pete Widolff, they have spent the last thirty years living in many different parts of the U.S. She has lived in Galesburg for seven years. Angie and Pete have two children and have had many wonderful pets over the years. They now have a spoiled Yorkie named Lottie that they adopted in November of 2018. In her spare time, Angie enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, reading and spending time outdoors.

Rhonda has been with AMC since 2007. She has a life time of experience with animals, including swine. She breeds and raises German Shepherds.

Jeff joined Animal Medical Center in January of 2020 after retiring from teaching for 35 years. Jeff shares his home with Scooter a ten-year-old basset/beagle mix. Jeff enjoys the outdoors, working in the yard and spending time with family and friends.

Lindsay joined our team in August 2019, as a part-time receptionist. She and her husband have seven children. Lindsay has her own Scentsy business and is the director of music at her church. In her spare time, she enjoys sewing, crocheting and reading.

Becky joined our staff in September of 2023. Becky has four children and loves working with animals. Becky dabbles in photography and loves to learn new things.

Katie rejoined our Team at AMC in July of 2024, it had been about six years since she took some time off. Katie is a CVT and will be working full-time.

Paige joined our reception team in August of 2024. Paige enjoys cooking and spending time with her friends and family, including a grandbaby. Paige has one dog Ivy, and a pet fox, Echo.

Keri joined our team in August of this year as a part-time receptionist. A mother of seven and a grandmother of eight, she embraces a busy lifestyle that revolves around her family and pets. Keri's love for animals if a significant part of her life.
